Assist with the Introduction (page 5)
Contribute to the Statement(s) of Purpose, including offering inspiration from experience (page 1 and 2). Remember like the Issue Guide itself this is a process of listening, talking and talking action with a tangible outcome. Our outcomes have been the Issue Guide, your community-specific projects and the pilot.
Engage in the simulation (page 9 and 10). Specifically MODEL the introduction and launching of the conversation.
Coach the people who are doing the summary (page 16)
Help make clear the use and timing of the flip chart page (page 21)
Also
- Explain role cards and clarify people can speak from their own experience/voice too
- Participate as an active member of the simulation audience (questions are helpful)
- Model or suggest probes, especially those you know from your community
- Sit among the participants to support questions and make observations
